I just saw Always Sanchome no Yuhi and it was really good. Actually, my sister brought me home the DVD and at first I had no idea what it was about. I decided to watch it and find out.
It's set in the post-war Tokyo during the construction of Tokyo Tower. It presents the lives of the different residents. There's Norifumi Suzuki family and his "automobile business", Ryunosuke Chagawa who unexpectedly adopts Junnosuke and Hiromi, the chick who runs the sake shop and evidently convinced Chagawa to take care of Jun. Oh Chagawa also runs a candy shop and writes but so far he only gets his adventure stories for boys published. Mutsuko on the other hand, just came from her province and lives with Suzuki-san. I'd say more but...I really shouldn't XD
I really liked the setting and the music was really good too. Actually Horikita Maki, Koyuki and Hiroko Yakushimaru are there too. See? there's always that circle of actors/actresses that you always see in dramas and movies XD
What cracks me up the most is that they keep calling Mutsuko "Roku" despite that not being her name. They kept reading it wrong XD
There's also that one kid that reminds me of chibi!Toma...I have no idea why.
Look people! Isdfkjsdf man I want it.
